COP30 will be the first major climate summit to take place since US President Donald Trump announced his intention to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement in January 2019. The US has historically been one of the biggest contributors to funding and research for climate protection, so it’s critical that they continue to support the global community as a leader.
Over three days of interactive plenaries, workshops and networking activities, delegates from 48 districts across 19 countries in 5 global regions came together to discuss how to advance their own efforts to meet the challenges posed by climate change.
